Such an amazing homestay and Meta and his family are the nicest hosts ever. The location is outside of Siem Reap but Puok is a lovely village and Meta will make sure to guide you around so you’ll have the best experience. He took me to the Crocodile farm and the silk farm and even helped me later on with transportation. The bungalows are simple but well equipped and it was lovely to sleep in the nature! Thank you Meta for everything! 😊

Meta was an incredible guide and host. He took us to all the local events during the Khmer new year, gave us breakfast and dinner and took us to all the places worth visiting nearby (sky pool, crocodile farm, etc). He also drove us wherever and whenever we needed to go somewhere.

Perfect for escaping the city and experiencing life in a close knit community. We were there at the beginning of Khmer New Year and Meta invited us along to all the village ceremonies and parties. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and we had the best time dancing. Meta’s brother also drove us into Siem Reap to see the Phare circus which was amazing!

We booked this homestay knowing it was outside Siem Reap because we wanted to experience something else than the city life. It was super cozy and the host was amazing! He took us to an crocodile farm as well as the old silk farm. Definitely recommended!

We learned so much about the country and had this great opportunity to look behind the touristic phasade of the country and get insights in rice harvest, Cambodian family life and Cambodian daily life routines.

We loved our stay here. You stay out in the countryside and it's basic but the host is incredible! He helped us so much on our first day in Cambodia with cheap SIM cards etc and took us on a fabulous trip around his town. Hands down the best host we've had in over 2 months of backpacking. They offer dinner instead of breakfast which was a lovely touch.

We were made to feel really welcome and just had the best time here! So much better than a city hotel. Our host took us around his town and to local places of interest. We were welcomed at their village rice harvest which was really lovely. If you want an experience as much as a place to stay then this place was awesome

This homestay will give you an authentic local Cambodian experience. Meta was absolutely brilliant in ensuring that all our wishes were met, including two 4am starts to visit the temples at Angkor Wat using his local knowledge to visit the best temples at the right time to avoid the crowds. I will always remember sitting in the rice fields with Meta and the local farmers sharing food and a beer watching the sunset, amazing.
