Tonle Mekong Homestay exceeded our expectations! Sok, the owner, was incredibly kind and made us feel like part of the family. The local tour was fantastic, and Sok even helped us book additional activities like the dolphin tour and our bus for departure. Highly recommend for an authentic experience!

Everything! It was just a wonderful experience from the warm welcome to the friendly goodbye, The room was basic but comfortable, the food was great, and Suk and his family were the perfect hosts. And Suk's one day tuk tuk tour was one of the best days we've had during our two months of travelling. A unique and genuinely special experience.

We spent one night there, and we found a kind and welcoming family. The place has good vibes and dinner time was enjoyable with everyone eating together. The daughter gave a dancing lesson to the girls and it was really funny. The room was big enough and the bed comfortable. We wanted to stay one more night but they were fully booked. Really regret that we didn't book before.

The whole family are so lovely and welcoming We had dinner with the family both nights we stayed and the food was really really tasty! Breakfast was nice also. The bed was comfortable and nets were provided. We also did the Kratie tour which was really great, very detailed and insightful.

Guest house with many other backpackers. 1 bathroom and 1 closet to share with 4-5 rooms. Delicious food available with fresh drinks. Breakfast is one omelet, half a baguette and a coffee/tea. The service is excellent, the owner speaks english, answers fast on Whatsapp, and can propose you tours, tuk-tuk and book bus tickets for you to many cities (nb: we paid 12.50$ pp from Kratie to Siem Reap). He even brought us to the bus station himself and ensured we were picked by the right bus.

The family are incredibly welcoming and provided everything we needed including arranging tuk tuk trips to and from the property when ever we needed them. They also arranged for us to have a tuk tuk tour to see the dolphins and some local sights. Food was definitely worth having here and incredibly good value. It was pleasure to get to know Sok and his family and we'd definitely stay here again. The local market is literally outside the door where you get to see what rural Cambodia is like first hand with incredibly friendly locals who all seemed genuinely pleased to see us in the surrounding streets. We did request a room with a lockable door. At the time of our stay there were two rooms like this and two which were divided with hung sheets. Sok gave us our requested room which was greatly appreciated but it would be worth requesting this if you would prefer this as the divided rooms are not lockable. Thank you for a truly memorable stay!

I very much liked the real home feel . Staying there really is staying in the midst of a real cambodian family, which was lovely. It's very close to a market and also very close to a place to sit by the Mekong. The food was delish too and not far from it is a lovely little cafe by the road. The bed was super cosy and the mosquito net did a great job and the fan on the ceiling cooled the room down just enough for a good sleep.
