The hotel was very clean, the location was about 15 mins walk away from many restaurants, attractions were accessible too. It was very clean and warm.there was some filtered tap water always available. The decor is perhaps a little more old school, the rooms were a little on the smaller side, but the stay was very comfortable. The host only speaks Russian, however Google translate seems to be sufficient to aid any communication needed.

Great cosy homestay. I stayed here for 6 nights and it was an absolute delight. From check-in to check-out it was glitch free. Lena, who runs the establishment is a very kind and helpful women. She is there to help you whenever you are in some confusion. She recommends amazing tours and food places. Now coming to the stay, the biggest highlight was the facility and cleanliness - Top notch. Rooms are comfortable and did not felt cold at all. You have hot water and all necessary toiletries. Free wifi is also available. It's walking distance from city and I recommend you do that because the street is so beautiful. I would defined choose this property if I am in Almaty again.

Given that my accommodation on the Arbat cancelled at the last minute I was very fortunate to be able to get this budget option. Lena, the host was very hospitable going as far as giving me an opportunity to sample some home made borscht. It is in a great location for going to the mountains and Lena had a lot of useful information about the regions rural areas. It is a considerable walk from the Almaly district of the city but for me that was a good thing as Almaty is an enjoyable city to navigate on foot with it's wide avenues and idyllic parks.

Viator is a very quiet place. No air pollution and noise. Lena is a very nice and helpfull lady. The house is very clean. If i go back to Almay, I go back to Viator.

The rooms, kitchen, bath rooms are all very clean. The landlady Lena is very friendly and tries to help whenever possible. Lena lives next door and the hostel has its own entrance. The place is near the city centre. I have stayed here before and will come back.

Fabulous affordable find in Almaty. The rooms are comfortable, everything is very clean and the owner is super lovely and will help you with anything you need. Very good location near all the cafes and restaurants, walking distance to Kok Tobe gondola. No aircon in the room but there was a fan and it was manageable, even in very hot weather. I liked having access to a fridge and a washing machine (there's a charge for washing your clothes but it's not a lot). I'd happily stay there again!
