amazing accomodation. stunning architecture, the room was fabulous, amazing views and perfect staff/owners. helpfully with everything. the food was really great. they try to buy all ingredients locally that’s a big plus. at the end of our stay our tuktuk was not working. the team provided all help to get us going again. wish we had a couple more nights there. would definitely recommend staying here.

Absolutely amazing & unforgettable experience! This villa has 2 guests rooms with 24h butler service. When we arrived we were welcomed by the staff & they were so friendly & helpful during our stay. We enjoyed 2 romantic diners at the rooftop! Goosebumps on how they've created such a romantic setting! The food was delicious & served with love and (justified) pride! The breakfast is a continental breakfast with your preferred egg preparation. We enjoyed every single moment in this marvelous villa! The pool has an amazing view over the lake & the gardens! And what you think about a room with an enormous shower, natural outside shower & outdoor bath?! I can tell you, showering/ bathing is a unique experience in Arachchi Heritage! We are so pleased we found this accommodation & can only advice to book it & explore this luxurious stay yourself!

Our whole stay was perfect from start to finish!! The guide they arranged was so knowledgeable and we could come back in the middle of the day for some chill out time and a swim before the evening tour, perfect. The house is truly architecturally stunning! Dinner on the roof terrace was very special and the food was delicious.

Astoundingly beautiful property on the lake. So much more wonderful than the photos. The owner and his staff are very kind and helpful, the views from the rooftop breathtaking at dawn and sunset and the pool excellently maintained and a fabulous place to relax in after a morning’s sightseeing around historic Anuradhapura.

Everything absolutely everything. It’s a beautiful house, absolutely beautiful. Only has 2 guest rooms and that gives you such a lot of space to chill, swim, eat and be happy. The house is one of the most beautifully designed houses I ever stayed in. Chathurika looked after me so very well. Even gentle filling my water cup to remind me to drink more water. I have never felt so looked after

Couldn’t believe our luck in finding this place to stay. It is everything it looks like in the photos and more. The private location on the lakeside is spectacular, just watching wildlife all day with Chaktruti or listening to Suri with his vast passion and knowledge for history and heritage makes leaving to go out to explore very difficult, they have it all here. In addition there’s a fabulous in house team of chef and butler who dish up some of the best Sri Lankan dishes you’ll find anywhere, served in the most romantic setting in Anuradhapura. We loved it.
