Walk to Pedro Tea Estate You can walk to Pedro Tea Estate with us. This estate is situated 500m away from Barcode Residencies. This factory is one of the country’s best tea factories. Originally built in 1885 and still packed with 19th-century engines, which run for half an hour. However, you should note that due to the type of tea processed here (a very light tea), processing only takes place at night when it’s colder and consequently you’re unlikely to see much slicing and drying action taking place. Hike to Lovers leap waterfall. This is one of beautiful waterfall in Nuwara Eliya city. It’s situated at Hawa Eliya – walking distance from Barcode Residencies. This is a 30m tall water fall is incipient of the streams and brooks of Piduruthalagala, the Sri Lanka’s highest mountain. It flows over hard granite ledges.
