Private, Peaceful & Quiet, LAKE FRONT spacious Bungalow with a 45 minutes’ drive from Colombo City is ideal for a family / friends holidaying together. This listing is for the entire property, so you will have full exclusive use of all the space and amenities. It's a great getaway and perfect for family gatherings, quiet friend get-togethers, small celebrations i.e. entertaining a big group outside your apartment (but NOT loud parties). A convenient base for tourist travelling as a group to explore Colombo, Southern Coastal Towns and even the Int. Airport is Just ONE Hours drive. The property is a spacious detached house that can comfortably sleep 10 people in our 4 spacious air-conditioned comfort rooms with beautiful view overlooking the Lake & Garden. There are 3 large double bedrooms with attached bathrooms on the 1st floor and a double bedroom on the ground floor is also useful for a less mobile person with a bathroom right next to it. The pricing that is mentioned is for the entire property with full exclusive use or for a 4-bedroom house and use its facilities, plus you got living-in staff to cook, tidy & clean the bungalow and garden as well.
Hi I’m Leon, and I started hosting guests from April 2019 after we rebuilt & refurbished this holiday home in August 2018. My family and friends always enjoy the peaceful and calm surrounding admiring the beautiful 55-acre LAKE FRONT view which is a nice getaway that is not far from the busy city as well. The things we loved to do most are also made available for your use (badminton, table tennis, bicycles, cricket, basketball, board games, cards and of course music). We don’t live on-site but we do have 24-hour staff on site (cook & helper) available to cook, clean and tidy that comes with the privileges of using this villa. I’m contactable on the villa phone at any time or you could text me for any help or any local information. We certainly value family & friends time together and if you have the same interest… then I'd be honoured to share “MyHoliday Home at Bandaragama (@MyHSriLanka)” with you! We love our family holiday home and we invite you to “Make it your OWN PLACE for every Holiday”.
You are also approximately 8 minutes’ drive away from Sri Lanka’s biggest go-karting circuit / race track which also has a 6 lane 26-meter-long swimming pool, air riffle shooting, basketball court, pool tables as activity and cafes / restaurants as well. We are less than 1-hour drive from some fine Beaches with Kalutara being just 25 minutes whilst Bentota 48 minutes and 1-hour away from Hikkaduwa. Architectural heritage site of Galle Fort, Turtle hatcheries, Unawatuna Lagoon Canoeing Excursion comes to approx. One hours drive whilst Whale / Dolphin watching or snorkeling in Mirissa is 1.5-hours from the bungalow where you could easily plan for a day trip and get back the same day. Also you could stay at a different location making MyH as your base for travel that are 3.5 to 5 hours’ drive to Wildlife Parks of Sinharaja Forest Reserve, Udawalawa & Yala National Parks.
