We stayed at Red Coconut 4 nights at the beginning of our Sri Lanka trip and we enjoyed every minute. Kathrin and Aruna are the most welcoming and friendliest hosts you can wish for. The garden and pool are a green oasis which we found difficult to leave. Every day we had a different breakfast option and the coffee is really good. Food at the small restaurant 7 tables is fantastic. Style is a great mix of modern Italian-Asian. You just walk across the road and there is a long and beautiful beach (perfect for long walks), not too busy with just enough options of small restaurants and beach amenities like sun beds etc. Thank you again Kathrin and Aruna for making us feel like part of the Red Coconut family, we will be back:-) google review NOTE ! This is a truly amazing place!! It’s a hidden paradise like a miracle wonderland oasis! Everything was built and designed from scratch by the two owners who run this place themselves. You can immediately tell this place is a dream come true. The food is excellent and it was the only la marzocco espresso maker if seen in Sri Lanka on my quest for a home style cappuccino. The vibe and the ambience is even nicer than the fotos already show. The garden is a miracle. There is a lot of love and soul put into this place! Amazing oasis located right next to the Beach with a top notch in house restaurant and pool/chill area. High standard rooms, spacious and clean with a personality design. Perfect location for a few days of recovery and to explore the beaches in Bentota. google review
