As some other guests have said, the photos don’t do this place justice The pool is lovely- just the right temperature and surrounded by monkey filled greenery Staff are all good- especially the main lady Breakfast is good- nice that they have some variety and some Sri Lankan options Location is good- convenient for Hiri and Dikwella

Beautiful place in a really good location. Around the corner from hiriketiya beach and dickwella beach is just a 5-10 minuten walk away. Near a lot of restaurants. The room was huge and wel equipes. Friendly hosts and breakfast was delicious (buffet style). I would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay. Apartment style room was great, Lovely design. We Loved the garden. 5 minutes walk from Hiriketiya beach. Nice breakfast options and proper coffee available(which you pay extra for ). Friendly and helpful staff. The yoga studio and daily yoga was a great thing to have access to, you pay extra but we did it 2 mornings.

We stayed in an amazing apartment up in the tree canopy! The apartment is very new, beautifully furnished and the bed and shower were brilliant. The apartment has glass all around and you are made to feel part of the natural habitat. We loved sharing our staircase with monkeys and watching them watching us! The pool was clean and looked beautifully calm with flowers and succulents all around. We loved our stayed and wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you

This was one of our favourite spots during our two weeks in Sri Lanka. Stunning rooms with jungle views and a fantastic yoga programme on offer. We saw a lot of monkeys and many beautiful birds (red-backed flameback woodpeckers and grey hornbills) from our bed in the morning. We loved the breakfast and that they arranged surf lessons for us. We also really appreciated the emphasis they placed on sustainability and using resources responsibly. No plastic water bottles in our rooms but rather refillable glass bottles - something more hotels in Sri Lanka should be offering!

This is a really good accommodation and from what I saw in hiriketiya I doubt you will find anything better. The location is up a short hill making it serenely quiet at night yet very accessible to both hiriketiya and also Dickwella beach . We stayed in an upper floor apartment which was huge , well designed and very comfortable. We had 4 balconies to choose from. We didn’t sit out on the main balcony due to the amount of monkeys around but it was fun to watch fun them looking in to the apartment. Made use of the feee surfboards each morning Breakfast buffet first class Pool area lovely and again fun to watch the monkeys drinking out of it ( they won’t bother you if you don’t feed them ) Staff all very friendly and it is obvious they take pride in maintaining the place. Look no further for an excellent choice in hiriketiya and book it if you can !

Great hotel bang in between both beaches and not too far from anything. Loved the cool vibe here, really chilled atmosphere hanging out with the monkeys and even used the gym a couple of times. Ishan and his team are great. Pool area is lovely and breakfast is great as well. Loved our time in Hiri and Serene Villa is a fantastic place to stay.
