I could not have stayed in a better place, booked last minute and even added another night. Marc the owner is a remarkable host who wants you to have the best experience in Lesotho. His "right hand" Doreena is a sweetheart and welcomes you with a big and warm heart. Have a beer across the street at the local 'pub', Marc is happy to take you. Take the opportunity to go horseback riding in the area (you don't have to be an experienced rider) or take Doreena out exploring. Marc can also cook a local dish for you. An outdoor shower makes it even more special. TIP: Bring a flashlight or headlamp for the night. Electricity is limited. Either take the challenge without internet or upgrade with Vodafone. I left with tears and a fulfilled heart. Thanks to Marc who asked or offered me to stay another night. Lesotho is remarkable in terms of nature and people.

Very nice and quiet area. But the place is very easy to reach by car. We got a very warm welcome. We had a great time exploring the environment by horses which is arranged by the host. The horse riding is very cheap compared to elsewhere in the world. The hut is cosy and comfortable.

Casa Tumi is located in a beautiful setting and offers “all you need” when staying in such an authentic and back-to-roots vibe. Enjoying a wonderful outside shower, swimming in the river, very comfortable bed in the nice decorated roundhouse, delicious food cooked by Mark and Doreena… Mark and Doreena are the most lovely and amazing hosts you can imagine. They take care of everything but also gives you a real view into the way of life of the local people. Thank you both for a great time!

Sehr nette Gastgeber, welche uns auch gute Tipps für Ausflüge gaben. Wir buchten die Pferdewanderung, die sehr schön war. Der Guide war ebenfalls sehr nett. Die Lage ist perfekt für Ausflüge in die höheren Berge, die Anfahrt unkompliziert, sobald man aus Maseru draußen ist. Das Rundhaus erfüllte unsere Erwartungen an Komfort. Wir fühlten uns in der Zeit etwas zurückversetzt hier, genossen dies aber sehr.
