Our host was incredibly welcoming, kind and informative. We had the pleasure of staying at this camp for an evening and wished we had stayed for longer! We were provided a delicious dinner and in the evening a fire was lit and we enjoyed music from the locals and the other guests. They also provide a quad biking experience which you definitely should not miss, absolutely great vibes

BIVOUAC -- ZAGORA offers an unforgettable stay and trip for those guests who like to get away from the hustle and bustle of the big cities. Our Bivouac Zagora Located in the heart of the sand dunes in the desert, 12 km from Zagora offers accommodation in Standard tents. From your tent, you will appreciate the panoramic view of the sand dunes and on the mountain range of Bani. The camp also well equipped with a sanitary block, hot showers and western-style toilets. Water and electricity are powered by solar panels. In the centre of the camp, wide space, covered in traditional carpets, welcomes you with comfortable seating under the starry sky and a campfire to warm the night. A large shaded tent is available to all, where Moroccan meals are served. The catering, based on local and fresh products, is provided by our camp cook. A famous sign in the center of the city says Timbuktu 52 days (while it took the Saadian army 135 to reach there). Zagora is dominated by the Jebel Zagora, and has a vast palm grove. It is the starting point for numerous hikes to countless oases in the Drâa valley and to the Sahara Desert. It is also known for its numerous kasbahs. The weekly souk (Sunday) is the meeting place for residents of the different villages upstream of the city (Beni Zouli, Tazarine, Tafroudest, Oulad El Haj) and downstream (Beni Khellouf, etc.), with a vegetable market and a large cattle market. The Zagora Marathon takes place every year . An extraordinary race through the city and the palm grove. The Zagora region is one of the most touristy regions of the country with its Draa valley and the famous Erg Chegaga desert.
