It was a wonderful stay. The owner and his employee were super nice, it was great to talk to them about Morocco, they also recommended great hiking routes, we asked for picnic food for the hike and it was prepared the next day. The food they prepare is really good and tasty. Prices are low and affordable. The days we were staying was my birthday and my girlfriend made a surprise, she asked the employee to bake a small birthday cake for me and it was very unexpected because they baked a big delicious cake with candles, it was a wow surprise. The rooms were very cozy, small, but really enough to have a good time. We definitely recommend staying at this place 10 out of 10.

Hello! My name is Rachid and welcome to my Ecolodge! My family and I have lived in the Atlas Mountains our entire lives, and wanted to share our experience of this beautiful place with people across the world. I manage the Ecolodge with my wonderful friend Ibrahim, who will make sure you are properly looked after during your stay. I also have worked and trained extensively as a guide and tour operator, so please reach out to enquire about any hikes, tours or excursions you may be interested in during your stay at my Ecolodge – I am always happy to help. Neighbourhood information

The most popular attraction nearby is Mt. Toubkal, the highest summit in all of North Africa. With a variety of hikes and tours encompassing the summit, and covering a wide range of different ascents, there is path up Toubkal for all experience levels. The town of Imlil is just a short walk from the Ecolodge, with shops offering traditional Berber clothing and crafts, female collectives offering Argan oil and cosmetics (to support local female arrtisans), and plenty of restaurants and typical high-street stores to buy groceries, medicine, or anything else you would need. Otherwise you have other villages and valleys all within (very scenic) hiking distance of the Ecolodge, such as Aroumd, Ikiss and the Azaden Valley. See beautiful waterfalls, epic mountain faces, and traditional Berber village life. We are always happy to help advise on where you can hike and where specific natural attractions are located!
