Very homely and friendly atmosphere. Natasha the owner is a lovely lady, very helpful and takes care of her hostel. She mixes and chat with visitors. The kitchen is well equipped and there is tea all the time.

What a great stay! Felt very at home in here. Ohrid became my favourite place during my trip in part because of how warm and welcoming everyone was. The beds are very comfortable with the plus of the curtain what is always good. Everything is very tighty and clean as well! Great location! If you can make sure you stay for the typical dinner. Thank you everyone! Will be back!

Room was spacious and had big lockers. Bed was very comfortable and had curtains for privacy. Common area was also nice to chill. Everything was super clean. They also served good coffee. The staff was super nice and hostel had a good environment to meet people.

The central Old Town location, friendly staff, secure dorm rooms, exceptionally large lockers, friendly social environment, sufficient number of bathrooms, hair dryers in the bathrooms, comfortable bed, curtains on bed, personal storage area and outlets next to bed, scenic balcony, coffee included, laundry service available. Unlike at most hostels, you could probably fit a carry-on suitcase in the locker you are provided at Old Town Hostel Ohrid. The six hostels I stayed at last month all had smaller lockers -- big enough for little more than a school-size backpack. The lockers at this hostel have about 2-3 times more space, and it's mostly horizontal (in a drawer). You can use your own padlock, or the staff will provide one at no extra charge. In some hostels, the dorm rooms are not locked, but at this hostel each guest only has key access to the six-bedroom dorm they are assigned to. Most hostels don't seem to provide hair dryers; this one does.

The Old Town Hostel is really great. Starting with the location not far from the lake. My 6-bed room was very big with a small balcony overlooking the lake. There was an en suite bathroom and an extra bathroom in the corridor. I had the lower double bunk bed. It was so big that you could also sit down in it very well. There was a separate light and a small storage compartment. Together with the curtain, you sort of had your own little private room. The kitchen is very well equipped and directly adjoins the lounge. There is also a small sitting area outside. The hostel also organises its own activities. The wifi in the rooms is also very good and is definitely enough for streaming.
