Upon entrance you might feel surprised by the charm of the limestone staircase contrasting with the interior-decor of this house which is complimented with two large, wooden-arched apertures overlooking the private pool area. An open plan living/dining area and a compact kitchen welcomes you to this beautiful and comfortable house which activates your ‘holiday mode’ in the fastest way possible. From here one can opt to enjoy the air-conditioned indoor living area equipped with two new sofa beds, a 55” TV and a log fire place while having a view of the outdoor area that comprise of a private pool; equipped with jacuzzi jets; a shaded deck area with a 4-seater outdoor table and a charcoal grill. Before going up the stairs to describe the first floor it is noteworthy to add a full shower room with toilet and a laundry room. At first floor level, one finds 3 full bedrooms. The main double bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and a balcony overlooking the alley. The other two bedrooms with two single beds each share another full bathroom in between. From this level, a limestone spiral staircase leads to a kitchenette and a roof terrace with 6-seater Jacuzzi.

It was not until I stayed at a local holiday home myself to organise a family reunion that I truly discovered what Gozo has to offer. Being a traveller myself who is always on the lookout for new experiences, I never truly thought to be able to appreciate the local charm with its unique simplicity.
