Hi I am Ludwig from Malta. I decided to offer my residence on Airbnb for guests to enjoy. I used to live in the residence for a few years before I moved in with my partner. I have made some renovations to the property to make it more comfortable and contemporary. I love old traditional houses, which are becoming rarer to find.
Whenever I go on holiday I book Airbnb most of the time, and love staying in different and quirky places. It makes my stay unique. I am hoping that guests fall in love with the charm of my property and likewise make a difference to their stay on Malta.
I am offering guests whatever I would expect from an Airbnb myself, and of course want to offer the best experience. I welcome feedback that will improve the stay for guests.
Small narrow alleyways, cobbled streets, colorful wooden doors and windows, niches with statues of saints, all of these are typical when walking through the old part of cities / towns in Malta. This is the case when walking around the vicinity of Nr. 9. Most of the old part of Birkirkara falls within the Urban Conservation Area, which means that any alterations to existing buildings or new dwellings must adhere to strict rules to conserve the charm of the area. The host recommends guests to take some time out of their itinerary, just to roam the streets and alleyways surrounding the property just to experience and take in the beauty of these old properties.
Just a stone’s throw away from Nr.9 is the center of Birkirkara, where guests will find most of the attractions, amenities, and transport connections mentioned in this guide.
