Friendly, relaxing, helpful and a kind family environment. The owner/manager is personally involved, and so the place gets that loving clean touch. When we ran out baby diapers, he helped source it from main city Male by the end of evening, when we spotted a dying cat on the street, he was involved in helping to find a nurse resuscitate and save its life. Bomey who is the boat man and diver is exceptionally skilled and also acts a a Go pro photographer of diving trips.

If you decide for Gulhi island stay at Aqua Sunset, because it has the best dinning space for sunset view at the island! The food from the restaurant was always delicious taste and the staff was friendly! They organize a very nice coral-garden snorkeling and turtle trip for my family. On Wednesday evening we had a nice local music and dancing performance. They care about guests nicely and before the departure we even had got sweets as a present. They all do the best for our nice stay, even the hotel facilities are a bit worn out, all equipments are clean and functional.

Unforgettable stay! The Aqua Sunset Guesthouse is simply amazing! The owner and the staff makes you feel like family, everyone is just so kind and welcoming. Chef Dila cooks delicious dishes and the waiters are so nice and friendly. The Guesthouse is located a short walk from the bikini beach and watching the sunset from there really leaves you speechless. 
We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant and relaxing stay! Can't wait to see all of you soon ❤️
