Property is located along the Crocker Range that links to the highest peak of Southeast Asia. Close to nature and plenty of wildlife in this part of Borneo. If you are a bird enthusiast, this is one of the few places where you can find different kind of birds.
I am a native of Borneo. I was born and raised in Penampang, a small town in North Borneo, Sabah. Moved to USA over two decades ago but still consider myself a true Kadazan. I speak fluent Kadazan, Bahasa Melayu and English. I have traveled and lived most part of the world and was a hotelier myself for many years. I am hosting now because I find that the uniqueness of life in Borneo is something people from other countries have yet to discover and experience. I agree, my holiday home is nothing to shout for but offers it’s comfort, affordability, cleanliness and most of all an amazing time in Borneo.
In this idyllic village (Sugud), you’ll find people are always happy and ever ready to assist anyone in need. This is a perfect place where guests can immerse among the locals and be not afraid of any kind of violence or danger. Simple people, simple life, nothing fancy and if that is what you’re looking for… There are many interesting places to go if you are an adventurer… just ask people around you and they will be happy to guide you to the right place.
