I love to travel! During my travels I discovered that nothing is more peaceful in than finding a guesthouse far away from home that feels like home. Having a good night's rest, a place to relax where all you have to plan is your journey. So here I am trying to provide you everything you would ever need from a guesthouse. I hope to plant smiles in the faces of our guest and give them something to remember during their stay here.

Property information

Featuring free Wi-Fi access throughout, QuiikCat offers private rooms and dormitories in the centre of Kuching, a 6-minute walk from the Sungai Santubong riverfront. A shared terrace is available. Each simple room comes with a shared bathroom equipped with warm and hot showers. You are provided with a pillow, blanket and towel. Most rooms are air-conditioned. Guests can relax and watch movies on our TV, read a book from our book exchange shelf, play our guitar or prepare their own meals in the shared kitchen which features a rice cooker, microwave, refrigerator and toaster. We are located very centrally in a lively area with a neighbouring school and many businesses - if road noise is a huge concern then this is not the place for you! But if you enjoy the local life and convenience of having many amenities on your doorstep, we are ready to welcome you here.

Neighbourhood information

There are a total of 5 Museums (free entrance) which are few minutes walk from QuiikCat, while the ATM machines, Padang Merdeka, Malls, Kuching Bus Station and the Post Office are 200 meters away or less. Other attractions like the Kuching Waterfront, Chinatown and India Street are located within a 10-minute walk of the property. We are the closest to the famous UpTown Night Market. Other 24hrs services like 7- Eleven and coin operated laundry are also 1 to 5 minutes walk from our guesthouse (though we offer a laundry service in house for just RM20 for up to 4kg). Cheap hawker food is available everywhere. The oldest building in Kuching, The Bishop's House built in 1849, is just 50 meters away. For those who enjoy live bands and night life, most of the famous bars are on the other side of the road - NOISE WARNING: it's a lively place!
