Our host was very friendly and showed us around the apartment. We were given various tips what to see in Middleburg, as well as a very handy map. Our bikes could be stored safely inside. Washing machine with detergent was provided, and we were even offered a drying rack. The apartment is located close to the city center. Everything you might need is within walking distance

This apartment is located on the ground floor in the center of historic Middelburg. It consists of a room, bathroom, a kitchen and storage for bicycles. The apartment has its own entrance. There are bicycles available for a small fee per day. You can also store your own bikes in the storage room. In the apartment you can still find elements of a farriery, which it probably was in the past. In the past ships brought merchandise from faraway places. The merchandise of the ships was loaded in the port of the city. The carters brought it with horse and carriage in various warehouses in the city. In the course of the centuries the ships with merchandise have disappeared, but the carters were active until late in the last century. They did services such as removals of furniture and other things like waste. The horses had to be provided with new horseshoes. Well, that happened here in this apartment.
When I travel, I find it important that the accommodation is clean and that I can feel at home. I want to welcome my guests in the same way.
In the center it is paid parking from Monday to Friday from 8 am to 8 pm. Free parking is possible on the Oud Veerseweg (about 700m).
