Brilliant location for the airport, Amsterdam, Keukenhof gardens, etc. Lovely big room with a gorgeous huge very comfortable bed. Great little kitchenette with a good size fridge, microwave, kettle, etc. Lovely charming hosts and lastly a fabulous breakfast, so much we even made a sandwich each for lunch from it!

Location was brilliant for the centre of Haarlem. Access was really simple from Schiphol airport. Simply exit the airport, take the 300 bus and it drops you right outside the apartment. Really simple. Just swipe on and off the bus with a credit/debit card. The house was accessed by a key box, so no waiting around to be let in. The room we had was spacious with seating/dining area, kitchen, sleeping area and a bathroom. There was a tv with both BBC1 & 2, so good for we Brits, a coffee machine and everything else you might need. The hosts were wonderful and provided a superb breakfast each day with fruit, yogurt, cereal, juice, croissants, bread, ham, cheese and jams. There are lots of great restaurants within easy walking distance, and we had some lovely meals whilst there. Transport is really easy on the buses, trams and trains, so Amsterdam was reached in about half an hour, Keukenhof gardens in about 45 minutes and Zaanse Schans in about an hour.

It was just a perfect stay!.The old house in the very heart of Haarlem, directly at the bus stop . The apartment was absolutely beautiful, with a great love to historical details but also with all the modern comfort. A dreamlike garden outside, the large windows, the historic furniture - the time stopped and you feel like in a fairly tale. Ad and Esther are very lovely and friendly hosts. Many thanks! And the breakfast was very tasty! I definitely will come back again soon!

This was a perfect base for our stay in Haarlem. The apartment is right across from the airport bus (300) and instructions for accessing the key were clear. The room was great, the bed was v comfortable, there was lots of reading material and a little kitchenette with fridge and kettle which was really handy. The breakfast was superb, it was brought to our room every morning and set us up for the day. Esther and her husband were lovely too. Haarlem was such a nice city and we much preferred it to Amsterdam, lots of lovely independent shops and cafes. We would definitely stay here again. It was easy to get to Keukenhof, the flower fields in Lisse and to Amsterdam for day trips.

It was a real treat to have breakfast delivered to our room, along with a cheery smile and greeting each day! The little kitchenette, (complete with fridge for keeping milk and cooling wine!) was great for making a cup of tea after a long day sightseeing and the large bed was really comfortable.

It was absolutely superb, the room was magnificent with old world charm and elegance, complete with very cleverly designed and incorporated modern features, Ad was very kind and helpful and the breakfast was generous and delicious! The location was perfect for both visiting Haarlem on foot as well as easy access to buses with only a 10 minute or so walk to the station. It was comfortable in every respect!

We were welcomed with open arms and treated like old friends from the moment we arrived. We were so comfortable, and so well looked after, we could have stayed forever. I’ve never slept so well as I did here and it was the perfect birthday weekend get away for my husband. Great location, fabulous breakfast and amazing hosts.
