NEW: Next to the beautiful former mayor's house is the Guest House and has more than enough parking spaces for 3 cars. With private entrance and private key, the Guest House has all the amenities for 2 to max.4 people. With Wifi, full kitchen, TV and 1 bedroom. It's a spacious spot in the pittoresk town of Zierikzee (and just 7 minutes walk to the city center or 10 minutes drive to the famous Brouwersdam beach). We look forward to your visit and ensure a clean house and a very Warm Welcome! Zierikzee is a small town with a big history and you can still see it today. There are more than five hundred monuments in and around the compact city center. This Zierikzee is firmly in the top ten of the cities of the Dutch historic monuments. You can easily walk for a few hours and marvel at squares, alleys, the old city harbors and imposing facades. Combined with shops and cozy terraces, Zierikzee is a great destination for a day out shopping or browsing or a weekend getaway.
We are a happy family of 5 enjoying Zierikzee. We are excited about making your stay as enjoyable as possible. We just started with this and are curious to hear your feedback The Guest House we rent out is perfectly set-out for 2-4 persons. Note it has 1 bedroom and therefor suitable for families, couples, close friends upto maximum of 4 adults.
In every season you can enjoy our island Schouwen-Duiveland. Enjoy nature and nature. The old fortress town Zierikzee with the beautiful monumental buildings and the cozy harbor. The island of Schouwen-Duiveland has many old villages such as Dreischor, Zonnemaire and Brouwershaven. Zeeland's North Sea coast can be reached in just 10 minutes by car. The nature reserve "Plan Tureluur" is a must for the birdwatcher, but also the Ouwerkerk prairie is definitely worth a visit. For the sporty guests there are several riding schools. In Bruinisse there is a golf course. For cyclists and hikers there are beautiful cycling and hiking trails along fields, forests (for example on an old estate near Westenschouwen), the Oosterschelde and the dunes. The following museums show a lot about the history of Zeeland and are located nearby: the Watersnoodmuseum in Ouwerkerk deals with the great flood in 1953, the Goemanszorg Regional and Agricultural Museum in Dreischor and the Delta Park Neeltje Jans. The town hall museum in Zierikzee with lots of information about the rich history of Zierikzee is also worth seeing. Really a museum and a monumental building full of surprises!
