Location was perfect for exploring the bulb region of Holland. It was easy to get to from the airport by bus. The town was a very short walk away. The bikes being available to hire were a big plus for exploring the surrounding countryside.

The hotel facilities were excellent.
The hotel facilities were excellent. It was quiet but well-located, with friendly staff. Everything was clean and the bed & pillows were exceptionally comfortable. The purpose of our stay was to visit the Keukenhof and that was an easy walk away. Town is also pretty and worthy of a visit itself, with specialty shops, as well as nearby supermarkets. Restaurant at front of Hotel was lovely with cosy atmosphere, welcoming, friendly staff and good food. Others nearby also very good with wide variety of food choices.PeterAustralia - 10Scored 10

Very friendly town, had the feel of a.country village community. Visitors made to feel welcome. some good bars,.cafes and.restaurants but not overly 'touristy'. Beautiful gardens everywhere - the people of Lisse are clearly very proud of their closeness to Keuchenhof and the tulip fields.

We stayed 3 nights, which was aboout the right length of time. It was an easy bus ride from Schiphol airport (no 361) and a 10 minute walk. We spent a whole leisurely day at Keukenhof which was stunning. On a rather wet day we went on a pleasant 1 1/2 hour canal boat cruise past the dykes and windmills and through lakes starting at Lisssebrug at the bottom of Kanaalstraat (15-20 minutes walk from the hotel). We also went in the Black Tulip Museum, which was rather small and overpriced for what was there. If it had been better weather we would have cycled round the local area on the very good cycle tracks. There was plenty of bike hire places including at our hotel. There was a lovely Greek restaurant in town, and a very good restaurant at our hotel (De Duis), where we also eat at. The town had many good shops for clothing and restaurants/cafes. Our hotel was centrally located and the staff offered helpful information of what we needed to find in regards to a postal office and bus lines.

Comfortable beds, a wonderful shower, and breakfast brought to our room made this one of my favorite stays of our trip. We also ate dinner at the restaurant which was absolutely fantastic: a creative menu based on tulips, including tulip kimchi, and a beautifully presented marscapone tulip dessert. Had a homecoming package of local chocolate, stroopwaffles and a small bottle of wine. Cute one bedroom apartment with cutlery, dishes, glasses, and pans. 10 minute drive to Keukenhof Gardens. Right in the edge of a street mall, close to grocery stores, restaurants, and boutiques. Quiet at night. Extremely convenient. Easy parking.

The room was good neat and clean . First receptionist have given no.2 with out cleaned/house keeping , then reported him immediately ,he changed my room to check in room no.7. Appreciated. Also the busstop for different stations us located 3 min away from the hotel . I have travelled alone but room booked Delux bed was nice .
