Overnachten in een monumentaal pand met het comfort van heden? Dat kan in de Kakebiën. De woning is in 2021 compleet gerenoveerd en verbouwd tot een tweepersoons appartement. Eventueel is er ruimte om een babybedje bij te plaatsen. De woning heeft beneden een hal, woonkamer/keuken en een bijkeuken met een toilet en een aparte badkamer. Het slaapgedeelte bevind zich op de verdieping, waar zich ook nog een apart toilet bevind. De woonkamer/keuken is voorzien van vloerverwarming en heeft een sfeervolle gashaard. De keuken is compleet uitgerust met o.a. een vaatwasser, combimagnetron en een Nescafe Dolce Gusto koffie-apparaat. Voor de woning zijn twee zithoekjes gecreëerd.
De woning bevind zich in het knusse centrum van Hollum, met leuke restaurants en winkels binnen handbereik. Bushalte en fietsverhuur bevinden zich binnen 50 m. van de woning.
