We bought our house in September 2017 and completely furnished it again. It is equipped with all comforts: fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and 5 burner stove. (don't feel like cooking? a nice bistro with cafeteria is a 5-minute walk away) Furthermore, it is modernly furnished, with a corner sofa, patio doors, where you can walk straight into the fully enclosed garden with lounge sofa and covered garden table, so that you can enjoy the rain even can stay outside again.The garden is conveniently located, there is sun all day. There is a playground directly behind the garden, which can be reached through the garden gate. Ideal for smaller children. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 of which are rented. We prefer not to have dogs in our house. Villapark de Oesterbaai is located on the edge of the picturesque Wemeldinge, directly on the dike with 2 beaches, where you can swim, dive, or simply enjoy the view over the Oosterschelde nature park.
We chose this location because we like to stay on the water and it is right on the beach. Wemeldinge is a beautiful picturesque Zeeland village, with a beautiful marina and many restaurants. The area is beautiful and there is plenty to do. Our house has a lovely sunny garden, which is surrounded by lots of greenery, so lots of privacy, so you can completely relax.
There are many beautiful cycle paths in the area, also along the Oosterschelde. Bicycles can be rented in the park. The pleasant shopping town of Goes with many terraces and cozy shopping streets is a 10-minute drive away. There is also a subtropical swimming paradise and a beautiful 18-hole golf course in Goes. Of course there is much more to see and do in the area. A visit to the historic cities of Middelburg and Veere is highly recommended.
