Heinåli Hytta is a new-built holiday chalet, with a fantastic view of Romsdal mountains, fjord and the town of Åndalsnes. The great location gives you plenty of opportunities to wander in the surrounding mountains. The house is fully equipped and allows relaxation inside and outside on the veranda. There are 4 bedrooms, a large living room with a dining table and a kitchen with all you need to make your favourite dish. The chalet is open all year round. The mountains are a paradise for both hiking and alpine/randonee skiing.
We run a dairy farm next to the chalet. Cows are friendly neighbours. They are out from early summer till autumn so you can watch them grazing in the pastures. We love our place and therefore, we decided to build the holiday house to be able to share the magic views with our guests. And we are happy to see that they are enjoying every minute here.
There is a number of tourist destinations in the near surrounding. The Golden Route Trollstigen; Gudbrandsjuvet, Valldal or spectacular Geirangerfjord that is listed on the UNESCO protected areas. If you like to exercise, you can go up to Nesaksla and stop at the viewpoint Rampestreken and enjoy the wonderful view of the valley. At the top of Nesaksla you can get refreshment at the spectacular Eggen restaurant. To save your knees you can take the Romsdalsgondolen down. The Atlantic Road (Atlanterhavsveien) and cities Kristiansund, Molde or Ålesund are also nice one-day-trip destinations. Via Ferrata, Tindesenter (climbing museum and indoor climbing wall) or Verma adventure park offer little adrenalin if you like. Heinåli Hytta is surrounded with majestic mountains with known tops like Kirketaket, Vengetind, Romsdalshornet etc., that attract a lot of hikers and skiers all year round. The fjord and river invite to fishing and kayaking.
