It is a little gem in Bardiya, very cosy and well decorated. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfy. The staff is super friendly and the food was great. I really enjoyed my stay.

This is the place for travellers. Lodge: - Newly built freestanding houses. - Soft mattress with thick blanket - hot shower as long as you want. - Table and chairs to relax in your own house. - really quiet place for good sleep. - indoor toilet and shower Food: - wide menu option or just get surprised by the chef, like fresh pasta or pizza from the wood-oven - Pancake breakfast with birdspotting. - the bar serves all kind of drinks and ofcourse a good cocktail menu. Staff: They are just wonderful. Eating all together if you want, share stories at the campfire. They will do everything to make your stay comfortable. Walking Safari's are the best to be active and spot all the wildlife. - Go on Safari's with Krishna or Pramesh - Relax in the hammock area - movie night - campfire place - ride or walk around the towns to get a feel of the local life and traditions - and much more This place is my new home. Thank you to the team at Sunset view for an amazing stay. I booked for 3 nights and stayed for 8, I think that says it all. I really enjoyed spending time with the team and learning about local cultures and Tharu people in this intimate setting.

The bathroom was super clean, and there was a nice hangout area. I liked that the place only had two rooms so it was a more intimate setting and you could have a more personal experience (Pramesh is in process of building some new rooms). I was the only guest the first night, and Pramesh took me on a walk to the river and village which was very nice. The food was also very good. The area of Bardia is so beautiful and special! I loved this place and hope to visit again one day :)

A welcome change of pace from the busy of India. A relaxing little hideaway for a few nights - close to the river (top sunsets!), good food, shady hammock garden, lots of communal spaces and well organised jungle trips into Bardia NP. Would definitely recommend, especially if you’ve been on the road for a while and need a break.

Everything, we would very much recommend Sunset View! It has a really nice, super relaxed atmosphere, in a beautiful setting. The huts are lovely, clean and comfortable. The shared bathroom was always clean and had the best shower we’ve used in months. There is a great chill out area with hammocks, also with a projector where they show films sometimes. The food was always really good and fresh, and there are plenty of drink available. It is a very short walk from a beautiful river you can swim in and watch the wildlife. During our stay we did a walking and jeep safari which were amazing. Promesh, Naomi and the team were wonderful, friendly and always so helpful.
