Two days is never enough in Whanganui! Although this is a home-share property guests should never feel like they are imposing. I've been doing this for years and welcoming guests into my home is never a problem. If you want to get up at 2am and watch TV or make a cup of tea... just do it! It will never bother me. There is a TV in the room and a small wall heater and electric blanket for heating. Feel free to make yourself at home and enjoy the lounge area or great deck area outside.

We have a great selection of restaurants in Whanganui and I know most of them. The property is on a main road and for very light sleepers that might be a problem but most people will not be bothered by it. The museum and art gallery are close by in town. Kowhai Park is straight across the road. Don't miss the River Traders market every Saturday morning down by the city bridge. You really should do a Waimarie paddle steamer trip while you are here!
