Of course, there is room to park the boat onsite, with Te Moenga Bay of Lake Taupo only metres away. This small sandy bay has a boat launch and fishing pier, or simply park up in the sun with a good book. Acacia Bay Getaway has stunning views in a tranquil setting, and is just 8-minutes drive to the heart of Taupo for shopping, eateries and adrenaline-packed adventures. Just a few minutes drive from Taupo Central, Acacia Bay is a great place for a holiday filled with boating, fishing and hiking. Head into town for some shopping and an array of excellent cafes, or drive to see the famous Huka Falls. Another great thing to do is to simply find a good spot and take in the view of Lake Taupo over a picnic or some fish and chips.
