Waitara town centre is just 5min drive away, offering shops, cafés, bars and restaurants. The beach is a short walk from there, with surfing, boating and fishing. You can also take a stroll along the Waitara river that takes you to the mouth and coastline. Two very good 18-hole golf courses are located within 5min drive from your accommodation. Manukorihi GC is tree lined and Waitara GC Links is by the coast. New Plymouth Airport is a 10-min drive, New Plymouth CBD and the Valley shopping centre is only 15-20min drive.
