A lovely quiet one bedroom detached cottage unit. Open plan kitchen and lounge with a bedroom (queen bed) and ensuite. Bedroom can be closed off from the living area if required. Access to a lovely rear garden where you can sit and watch the tui's and bell birds come and feed. Complimentary tea, coffee etc. Linen and towels provided. We do not provide a breakfast service however as per below we are close to all amenities including supermarkets and cafe's. 10 minute walk to coastlands shopping complex, train station, restaurants and Café in Paraparaumu township. Please note that parking is on road only unless prior arrangements have been made with the host.

Hi there welcome to our wee place, we are Anne and Lawrence Snook, retirees. We are new to the hosting scene but hope that we will be able to offer guests a lovely stay in our detached cottage set amongst our established gardens. Having both lived on the Kapiti Coast for over 40 years we are well able to assist with any queries about the area and can provide recommendations on great places to go and see. We live onsite with our house situated at the front of the property. we sadly have said goodbye to our wee cairn terrier Rupert .And now have a new boy on the block called Taro , he is very friendly & kept away from the cottage although will meet you at the gate to say hello .

Local attractions include: Nikau bush walk ( 5 minute walk from premise) Lindale Shopping Village (walking distance) Kapiti Island Eco Tours run day trips to our beautiful Kapiti Island featuring native NZ birds including the Kiwi. Approx 50 minute Drive or train ride to Wellington City where you can watch a game at the stadium or catch a show Nga Manu Bird Sanctuary, Waikanae, a display of lovely nz birds Waikanae River and Estuary, 11 kilometres of green belt planting running alongside the waikanae river, great for an afternoon walk A selection of great local restaurants and cafe's close by.
