Built in 1930 this character double story home has 2 living areas downstairs, dinning and sitting room with separate full kitchen and laundry. There are 3 cozy bedrooms upstairs and a sunroom with a child's cot. main bedroom has an ensuite. There is a tiny children's playroom under the stairs. Wild garden with a table under the beautiful weeping ash tree Well heated with log burner, gas fire or just use the heat pump. The stairs, log and gas burners and upstairs windows, and outdoor fish pond present risks to unsupervised children
I really enjoy prepping the house for you with comfy natural bedding. The carpet upstairs is wool and even smells wooly on hot days! I hope you love this beautiful home as much as I do The garden gets pretty wild at times ! I have a gardener who helps me, she may be in the garden during your stay please let me know if this doesn't suit.
So close to Caroline Bay and to the main street of Timaru. 5 minutes walk to bay entrance , to cafes and restaurants, movie max theatres, museum and library and Bidwill hospital. Quiet street in a good area just out of main centre Free parking on the road outside the house or in garage alcove just off the street
