The Kelvin Peninsula trail – which stretches from the golf course right around to Queenstown if you’re feeling energetic is a quick 2-minute walk from the property. Pop into the Queenstown Golf Club for a refreshing drink or stop off at one of the many beaches for a “chilly” dip in the lake. Jardine Park, an easy 10-minute walk, offers a playground and tennis court. Bayview Reserve playground is just across the road – Perfect for the kids to play while waiting for the water taxi. Well worth the experience. the water taxi trip across the lake takes approximately 10 min into the heart of Queenstown. Alternatively, Orbus operates a regular bus service into Frankton and Queenstown. Pick up/drop off is conveniently located on the corner of Bay View Road and Peninsula Road.
