We had an amazing stay with Saeed! The camp is beautifully located between dunes and far away from other camps (it looks on booking as if it would be next to a street, but it's not) and is composed of just 5 tents, which allowed for a more private & authentic experience. The camp, the food, the people, the program - everything was amazing. Saaed and his whole crew were really passionate about giving all guests the best experience possible.

Very authentic tents with good beds, a fantastic view of the starry sky at night: There is always fresh coffee, tea and fruit available. The camp offers camel rides and sunset tours in which the owner shows off all his driving skills in the desert. Delicious authentic food.

This stay was the highlight of our Oman vacation. The young owner is very committed and looks after the guests personally. The camp is lovingly furnished. Every evening we had a campfire and good conversations and get a lot of useful information about the Bedouins and the desert and life here. Very authentically prepared food by the fire (camel barbeque).

We were warmly welcomed and Saeed was a great host. The authentic camp was very well presented and the attention to detail was amazing (small decorations well blended into the whole picture). The additional drive through the dunes with sunset watching was very fun and Saeed was again very thoughtful (prepared some bedouin coffee on a wood fire for the sunset watching). We finished the day with a bedouin meal which they prepared on a fire right in front of us. We got to know the omani people as very welcoming and this experience confirmed it again. Thank you!

We had booked two nights at the Authentic Desert Camp, which is really as authentic as it can get. :-) Saïd is a great host who knows everything about bedouin life and speaks perfect English. The food that Rubio prepared was amazing and probably the best we had during our stay in Oman. They offer activities such as dune bashing and camel riding, but we mainly came here to relax and enjoy the quietness. Just a note: bring cash for the activities and the room fare - no internet connection in the desert. ;-) Unfortunately, we were a bit unlucky with the weather and had to leave the camp a little abruptly on our second night, but we could stay at Saïd's guesthouse instead where we got to enjoy coffee and Omani sweets with him and his friends. We will definitely come again when we go back to Oman!

The accommodation in the desert was absolutely fantastic. The comfortable rooms were provided and the owner was friendly and accommodating. The view of the endless dunes was breathtaking, and the atmosphere of tranquility and seclusion offered a great escape from the everyday hustle. Food was also great.

The hosts of the camp made our stay an incredible experience! The camp is beautiful, situated away from other camps. The tent was large and comfortable. We enjoyed camel meat and other specialities prepared on the burnfire for supper and a nice breakfast. There was also Omani coffee and tea with dates served on arrival. We enjoyed the dune drive with the host, which ended with a perfect sunset view. At night we climbed a nearby dune where we could see the starry sky. We recommend this place for an authentic experience !
