This hotel is authentic, our triple room had flair and was overlooking the yard. The couple taking care of us was very warm and accommodating, especially with the meals, as it was one vegetarian person in the family. We stood 3 nights and enjoyed it very much. The food was every day different and plenty. The price for the meals is different, it depends if it is vegetarian, it contains cheese, or fish or meat. Lake Titicaca is a flight of stairs away an there is a nice beach and clear water to take a dip (water temperature 10-12 degree). There are nice walks on the hills nearby to viewpoints and small ruins.

We planned on staying 3 nights but prolonged because this Hostal was the nicest we had in entire Peru. The whole family was super welcoming! we were the only guests and had a great room overlooking the Titicaca lake which is just a minute of walking away. you can easily hike or make a boat trip to the nearby islands (they help you to organize everything!). The food was typical Peruvian with vegetarian options, always more than enough and soooo delicious! we had a changing menu every day. the family also showed us traditional clothes and made photos with us. part of the family is the Alpaka „Bebe“ that lives happily in the garden. We can highly recommend this Hostal and would love to come back one day!

Very hospitable and kind family! It was interesting for us to observe the life of the local people. Very tasty food (besides breakfast there was an opportunity for lunch and dinner). It is very calm around, no city fuss, we really rested our souls. Picturesque places nearby. It was possible to negotiate with the owner about the boat to the islands Amantani/Takile. And the alpaca lives here too!

Simion, zijn vrouw Adela en hun dochter Maripas maakten ons verblijf heel bijzonder. Heel vriendelijke mensen die goed voor je willen zorgen en graag laten zien hoe zijn leven en werken. Als je wilt nemen ze je mee op wandelingen, of laten je het meer verkennen met het eiland Amantani of de drijvende eilanden van riet. Overal om je heen zie je de agrarische activiteiten. Als het aan het begin van de avond wat kouder wordt maakt Simion een kampvuur aan op de binnenplaats.

Les hôtes sont très chaleureux et accueillants sans être intrusifs. Très authentique. L'emplacement est vraiment calme et magnifique et les chambres sont mignonnes. La nourriture est délicieuse et est fournie en grande quantité. N'hésitez pas !

Die sehr herzliche Aufnahme durch Adela u. Simón, und ihrer netten Tochter. Die Möglichkeit die sie uns gaben in der Kürze der Zeit etwas Einblick in die hiesige Lebenskultur zu bekommen. Adela kocht super lecker ( auch vegetarisch); und ist eine der 'starken' Frauen hier, die in ihren Tüchern alles tragen von Babys bis zu richtig schweren Sachen.
