Amazing place, amazing family, just perfect for a solo traveler or a couple. The couple was so helpful and warm and welcoming! She picked me up from the ferry station because I didn’t have a car yet. Also I went on a couple hikes with her. The place was just perfect with everything and a beautiful view. I would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic location. We loved the beautiful view of Cook's bay. The beds were very comfortable and there was good seating space in the covered cooking/eating area and in the garden overlooking the bay. The kitchen was very well stocked with pots and pans as well as oil, salt, condiments etc and augmented by fresh herbs brought by Cathy. There is a separate breakfast prep area with a Senseo coffee machine, kettle and toaster and stocked with coffee. Te and cocoa. Our hosts, Cathy and Thierry, were extremely generous and kind and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable.. It felt like we were staying at the home of good friends! They took us on a tour of the island's interior with pineapple plantations. There is a canoe which we used a few times in the bay. All in all it was a fantastic stay and I highly recommend this place.

And Catherine!Cathie the most kind, helpful owner!She helped for us in everything, if we needed call she phoned, if we needed clean clothes she washed our clothes!She do everything what make your trip perfect!Wish we could stay there more...already miss the place and Cathie!

I booked Te Fare Hinahei based on the ratings and reviews they've received. I wasn't disappointed, the hosts Cathy and Thierry were amazing and exceeded expectations. Their hospitality, generosity and helpfulness were second to none. I also feel we got lucky as to the location of the bungalow, the north, north/west of the island is particularly stunning and has the amazing snorkelling in the lagoon. The bungalow had everything (including air con and good WiFi) we needed and the view, spectacular. A perfect place to relax. There was a supermarket, food truck and potable water about 20 minutes walk down the road but, after getting the bus from the ferry terminal and realising that we really did need our own transport, we ended up hiring a scooter. I can highly recommend a sailing trip with Vaapiti, simply brilliant and I wish we could do it again.

Our hosts, Cathy & Thierry, were fabulous. They couldn't do enough for us. We were greeted with a huge basket of breakfast goodies. And fresh, tropical fruits for our entire stay. The location had great views of Cook's Bay and is situated in a tropical setting. Thank you both for sharing your slice of paradise with us!

First of all what incredible hosts Cathy and Thierry are. So super helpful, kind and thoughtful. Very special indeed. The lodging is fantastic - so well thought out, lots of places to hang out, everything you need for a wonderful stay. Photos don't actually do it justice. There are kayaks and bikes to use and the view of the bay is breathtaking. We saw a few turtles whilst kayaking there. There are several restaurants within a 20 min walk (and can arrange transport), very wellstocked, reasonably priced supermarket in that same locale too. Some restaurants that are further afield come and pick you up and drop you back also. An absolutely fantastic stay, highly recommend it!

We loved everything! Wow! We spent 5 days in moorea and had wonderful and very spical days thanks to Cathy and Thiery. We miss them already and sure we will be back!! The bungalow is very clean, comfertable bed, great shower, wonderful place to sit outside, to cook breakfast. Great location with view to cook's bay. Great ! THE HOSTS ARE AMAZING! Cathy and Thiery took us for a spical trip afternoon, we cooked together, Cathy teached me how to make poiand had amazing dinner at their place (Twice), they were so generous and friendly!!
