The accommodation is right on the beach, so you are steps away from the ocean. The beach is surrounded by palm trees, it's clean, with tiny waves, so great for swimming. The nicknicks weren't bad. We stayed in a tent and it was a great value really. We had the shared bathroom just for ourselves. The bathroom was tidy. The meals were amazing - try the spicy bicolan seafood, one of the best meals in Philippines. The waiteress Alex was super friendly and nothing was a problem to arrange.

We enjoyed being as close as possible to nature (living on the beach) and authentic fisherman village life (poor, but tidy slum). There is just some part of village's waterfront that is converting into tourist-orientated area where foreigners dominate. Otherwise Bucana lives it's normal life with fishing in a day time and basketball playing in the evening time. We were also very happy being assisted by Mike and her sister Fatima!

Despite the bumpy path to get to the camp, it was one of the great spots in the Palawan. Proper relaxation, not much people, tasty breakfast, hosts gave us free coconut, beautiful views, marvellous beach. If you do not mind camp vibes and looking for raw stay we recommend. Loved it. This place is a little paradise. It's quite hard to get there but thanks to that it's not busy or crowded, you can go by tricycle or choose cheaper (and longer) option by local jeepney. If you're looking for serene and clean beaches this is the place for you. Alex and her crew create a great atmosphere, whole stuff is really nice and helpful. It's a great place to relax. I booked it for 2 nights, but stayed for 3 more. I sent 3 nights in a tent on the beach (loved it the most) and two days in the hut. If I didn't have to come back I would definitely stay there longer.

This is the perfect spot if you want to escape the busy-ness in El Nido. A calm and relaxing beach front property with lovely owners made by Mama. Breakfast is included and you will have it right in front of the ocean. Beautiful place! I extended my stay with two more days. Near by you find Duli surfer beach which you can walk to 30-40 min or take a tricycle. Next to 8-star you will find two beach restaurants with nice food. Bucana is a small simple fisherman's village.

We loved everything. Marc and Mike and their mom are such amazing, adorable, really helpful, kind hearted people. We felt like home in the first moment. In the end we stayed more than one week because we felt just comfortable and home and we just couldn't leave. The breakfast was really yummy and every day we got something different. You get the freshest coconut just picked directly from the palmtree. We checked out the accomodations around and the 8 Star Paradise definitely had the best atmosphere. It is the perfect place to calm down and relax. Thank you so much for this amazing and unforgetable time.
