The hotel is very well situated in quiet village nearby the main roads and the lovely beach town of Calheta, and it has a big private car park. The rooms are spacious, with a beautiful ocean view and include a balcony and basic furniture. The annex restaurant also features a great vista and delicious traditional dishes served by an attentive and friendly staff.

The rooms are quite large with spacy bathrooms. The hotel feels much better than the actual 3 star rating suggests. Staff was very friendly and supportive. The are not a lot of rooms therefore not excessive noises, which definitely helps with the overall "quiet and relaxing place in the country side" experience

Excellent location … not steep, convenient parking, very clean and spectacular views from every bedroom. Fruit ( especially mango) for breakfast and was delicious.

Fantastic location over looking the sea in a very quiet, peaceful area. Rooms a very good size and the bed was very comfy. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The restaurant being attached to the hotel was great if you didn’t fancy the trip out for dinner.Food very yummy and good portion sizes. Staff were superb,thoughtful and very helpful.

Location was central to the many villages and hiking trails we experienced. A 25 minute drive to Funchal to the east and a 25 minute drive to Porto Monitz to the north-west was ideal. In addition, the hotel was very easy to get to and parking facilities were excellent. The dinner at the restaurant was very nice as well as our daily breakfast. The view from our room as well as the restaurant patio is stunning throughout the day.

With only 10 rooms we were almost like house guests rather than hotel guests. The staff were superb and so friendly. All rooms have an amazing view and the restaurant is excellent. A nice and quiet location which was ideal for us

How can you describe something so wonderful, the spacefull room with the great bed, the spacefull bathroom with the jacuzzi and rainshower. The balcony with the great ocean view. The restaurant with more then great food (in taste and in portions😀) but the best thing was the staff and personal! They really did everything to make your stay unforgetable!!!! Thank you!
