Very peacefull and charming place Close to Braga and Guimares and the wonderfull Geres national park Room are very well decorated and comfortable Never have such a breakfast with organic and homemade specialities We feel like in 5 stars accommodations We were welcomed with bottle of local own wine and delicatessen

The family greeted us upon arrival at 11.30pm! (we had been delayed and no charge in our phones, so could not contact the property) The property was beautiful, everything had been thought about down to every little detail :-) we slept so well as the bed was exceptionally comfortable and the breakfast was superb, we’ve never seen so much choice of delicious home cooking!. I would also say how hospitable the family were to their guests..nothing was too much trouble and there were so many little extras such as a bottle of their own delicious wine from their own estate! which we drank whilst sat beside the stunning pool area along with some cheese/bread, kindly bought over by the owner :-) We couldn’t recommend this property high enough as it exceeded our expectations. It was also so lovely that the family’s sons chatted in depth with us and gave us information on the area and restaurant recommendations etc..it truly was a magical experience in a beautiful place x

We had the most incredible stay at this lovely Quinta. The family that operates the rooms is super friendly and welcoming, they helped us with everything we asked for and had a great recommendation for the area. the homemade breakfast they make for the guests is incredible, with some of the best local food we had on our trip to Portugal. if you are there don't miss out on their dad's freshly backed cakes (especially the carrots one) and the homemade jams. we also got a wine bottle from their vines at the check-in and a cheese plate that made us feel so welcome - we felt like their personal guests, which is the best experience we could ask for. more so, the rooms are beautiful, comfortable, and clean, and the view from them is incredible. Overall we had a wonderful stay, and I highly recommend it.

Everything ! Starting with João - he greeted us so kindly, and Quinta de Chousas was more than we expected. Great hospitality, breakfast - too much choose from(inc Papas delicious cake) and our room upstairs facing the pool was perfect. On our first night João made up a platter accompanied with a bottle of their own white wine, which we enjoyed sitting outside near the pool. You will need a car to access the property, as slightly out of Braga, but worth it . Thankyou to João, Bruno, Imelda and Papa for a very comfortable 2 nights

Warmly welcomed by lovely hosts. Beautiful, quiet location. Excellent breakfast that is home made and delicious. We wish we could have stayed longer. Host even sent us away with a small package of cookies for our drive.
