Fortress 1 is located 50 m from Kalemegdan Fortress and park, and 100 m from Kneza Mihajla the central pedestrian street and Rajiceva Shopping Mall. Concrete Hall - the nightlife & restaurants mall is 250 m away and the Belgrade Water Front is 800 m . Kalemegdan Fortress offers tranquility, historical richness and magnificent view over Sava and Danube confluence, New Belgrade and Zemun. A place where time stands still. National Museum is at the Republlic Square, 400 m, Konak Knjeginje Ljubice and the Cathedral Church of St. Michael the Archangel are just around the corner, and yes, traditional local food in the oldest restaurant in Belgrade ("kafana" we say for that type) named "A Question mark" which is right across the cathedral 200m from Fortress 1. You can use pretty efficient and cheap public transport (Belgrade has no subway) yet we would recommend taxi (try LUX, NAXIS, Pink)
