When I arrived, I was greeted by the owner who walked me through the check in process. She also set me up with a much larger room in a quieter building, because there was a large wedding party staying at the hostel. The rooms were comfortable and the common areas were kept very clean. I also took advantage of the free breakfast and cheap bike rental (150SEK a day). The location is also perfect--it was a 7 minute bike ride to the ferry so that I could explore Faro all day.

This hostel is 2 km from Fårösund Strait and Gotland’s famous Stone Coast. It offers bike rental and sauna access as well as a communal kitchen and TV lounge. Housed in 6 separate buildings, Bunge Vandrarhem offers fresh, comfortable guest rooms. Shared toilets and showers are available for guests' use. Just a 15-minute ferry ride from Vandrarhem Bunge are the rocky beaches of Fårö. Its famous Ice Age stone monoliths, known as rauks, are a popular tourist attraction. Bunge Vandrarhem can arrange horse riding, diving and fishing trips. Guests can also rent bicycles on site. Bunge Museum is a 10-minute cycle away and deals with local history from the mid-17th century until the 1920s.
