I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Skytteholm in Ekerö, and I am delighted to say that it was an unforgettable experience. From the breathtaking location to the excellent hospitality and top-notch facilities, there was nothing I could fault. The location of the hotel is simply stunning. It is situated on an island in the middle of a picturesque lake, offering beautiful views of the surrounding nature. The tranquil setting was perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of everyday life and unwinding. I enjoyed taking walks along the lakeside and soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. The staff at Hotel Skytteholm deserve special praise. They were extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive. Every one of my requests was promptly met, and they went out of their way to ensure my stay was enjoyable, making the experience even more pleasant.

Set on a historic country estate on Ekerö island, Skytteholm offers free Wi-Fi and rooms with a TV and private bathrooms. The 27-hole Mälarö Golf Club is 150 metres away. Garden views can be enjoyed from all Skytteholm's rooms. Most have a seating area and work desk. Some rooms have views of Lake Mälaren. Guests can enjoy a daily breakfast buffet and SPA, Pool & Sauna access for an additional fee. A private sandy beach with a jetty is located 50 metres from the main building. Additional facilities include a common room in each wing. Parking is free on site. Drottningholm Royal Palace is 19 km from the hotel. Stockholm city centre is a 40-minute drive from this 17th-century manor.
