Alma vista is located in the heart of the Goriška Brda, the westernmost part of Slovenia, at the crossroads of the Alps, the Friulian Plain, and the Vipava Valley, with a view of the sea and the Dolomites to the west. A modern structure committed to new forms of living, with an emphasis on content determined by art, design, and a sense of detail, essentially flirts with tradition. Within it, there is a comfortable living space with two minimally furnished rooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a wellness area with an infrared sauna and a massage tub, a private wine cellar, a barbecue area, and grassy areas, as well as an outdoor pool. As part of the globally renowned wine house Edi Simčič, it offers you the opportunity for tastings and cellar tours, as well as the chance to socialize with the winemaker.

In the far west of Slovenia, a beautiful, fascinating, and intoxicating land of Brda spreads across 72 km². It extends beyond the national border from the emerald river Soča in the southeast to the river Idrijca in the northwest. Proudly concluding it are the ancient hills of Sabotin to the east and Korada to the north. The hills of Brda, where approximately six thousand inhabitants have arranged their homesteads, clustered in settlements usually centered around a small church, gradually descend towards the south to the Friulian Plain. For some, on clear weather days, a new horizon opens here – the sea, enriching the fertile soil on flysch substrate with a pleasant Mediterranean climate. Excellent conditions and the diligent hands of locals yield numerous juicy fruits such as cherries, peaches, apricots, olives, figs, chestnuts, and, last but not least, grapes that ripen into sweet ruby wine around St. Martin's Day. Brda is a land steeped in a tumultuous past and intriguing events in the present. On the journey from village to village, one encounters rich natural and cultural heritage. Brda is a land of castles and white churches, mostly perched on top of the hills; almost 30 of them are preserved.
