The nature and the buildings were like taken out of a fairy tale. The breakfast was rich and delicious. The staff was very nice. We will come back again

Breakfast was very nice, featuring freshly baked cakes, yogurt, bread, butter, and jam. There was also a wide selection of savory items, including cured meats, cheese, and boiled eggs. Hot coffee, milk, and tea were available. They offer dinner upon request from 7 to 8 pm. You can't choose the menu, but you won't be disappointed. We dined there twice, and the meals were excellent, completely homemade, with plenty of vegetables, hearty soups, and meats. The location is beautiful, though somewhat isolated, nestled in nature – making it an ideal spot for those seeking peace and quiet, approximately 12 km from Novo Mesto. An additional bonus is the presence of a wonderful and very affectionate dog always happy to receive cuddles.

A wonderful experience : you drive on a small pathway and arrive in a really beautiful area with the hotel and the old farm. The staff is fantastic, the rooms are really nice, the food at the restaurant for diner is wonderful and for breakfast, it was one of the best we have seen ever. Everything is beautiful. The location was beautiful. We stayed there with a group of friends for a wedding in a nearby castle. The owners/staff were very welcoming and went out of our way to meet our needs, always with a smile. The breakfast was very good and the dinner they served for the group was out of this world! We had a great stay. The farm is beautiful, rooms enormous, and we loved meeting the dog (Brina), several cats, and various chickens. Seruga has really friendly, hard-working multilingual staff who seem to be all, or mostly, family members, and they remembered lots of details about guests dietary preferences and needs when it came to preparing meals. Eva also drove us to the bus stop at the end to save us walking in the heat (though it isn't very far). We really did feel as if we were staying with friends rather than at a hotel! We enjoyed the hikes locally to Trska Gora, Novo Mesto and Otocec, and also took buses to Brezice and Kostanjevica (proving that a trip to Seruga is completely possible without a car). We had two wonderful dinners in the farm, and walked on the the other evenings to local restaurants - a big advantage of Seruga is that unlike many farms it isn't isolated if you don't have a car, and there are other facilities nearby.
