Vineyard cottage tourism is a unique, authentic and attractive tourist product with an authentic offer of the Slovenian countryside. Our accommodation (there are more than 40) is suitable for those who seek and love peace, unspoilt nature, intimacy, traditional Slovenian cuisine, local and boutique products and active holidays.

The vineyard cottage was built in 1848. Downstairs there is a larger wine cellar with around 10 different wines, a wine bar in the colours of Slovenia, a rustic room for small groups of up to 15 people, and a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven and fridge. There is a guest apartment above the cellar. It has one bedroom with two good quality beds, a bathroom with shower, toilet and washing machine, and a living area comprising: a kitchen with a large fridge, oven, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates and dishwasher; dining area and a seating area that can be made up into a high-quality bed for two people. The interior is brand new, fitted in beeswax-coated wood. There is also an infra-red sauna in the corridor. The host welcomes you and invites you to the cellar for a tasting. Guests receive a key to the cellar and can pour their own wine for an extra charge. You can also try homemade bread, salami and cheese. Guests can enjoy seasonal vegetables and fruit from the garden. You can visit Matjaž's homestead, watch a multimedia and taste wines. By prior arrangement, we can also organise a sound bath (gong, crystal bowls, etc. ), an Indian head massage, an acupressure massage on a special ergonomic chair, apitherapy, electric bicycle rental and vintage car rides through the wine hills. It is also suitable for smaller groups, as there are two other cottages in the immediate vicinity (Škatlar 1 and Škatlar 2). The welcome of local delicacies on your arrival is included. Because we are aware of the importance of reducing carbon emissions, we have set up an electric charging station for your electric vehicles.
