The cottage is located in a peaceful location surrounded with vineyards and nearby the warmest Slovenian river Kolpa (up to 28°C). Ideal getaway from fast moving life just a few minutes away from main road. The accommodation offers barbecuing in the garden, bathing in the jacuzzi or night time watching the beautiful sky filled with stars. The surrounding offers outdoor activities like hiking, cycling, canoeing or swimming in the Kolpa. You can also visit great local vineries for degustation.
The cottage is located only 6 km away from town Metlika and border with Croatia. Drašiči is a village in the Municipality of Metlika in the White Carniola area of southeastern Slovenia. The local church is dedicated to Saint Peter and belongs to the Parish of Metlika. The Drašiči community vineyard cottage is a special way of connecting villagers in the local community and parish. Wine produced by members of the neighbourhood is kept in the vineyard cottage. The cottage is a gathering area for the wine of the village community, which is then lent and sold to villagers.
