The experience was really good. The location is right in the middle of the jungle (incredibel!) and the bathroom is a dream. Although, it's far a away from Santo António. The staff was really amazing. Thank you so much, Elizabete and Marlene for all the love and kindness that you gave to us. Breakfast and dinner were good.

We absolutely loved the staff Betty and Marlene. Both were so lovely, warm hearted kind and patient, always with a smile on their beautiful faces even through having to deal with two travellers who spoke no Portuguese. Thet went above and beyond making our stay comfortable, making us feel part of their family. What a special place for the person who wants to explore the natural world of Principe. Be prepared facilities are basic in the area with a local shop that provides only the very basic food stuffs and takes local cash. There is an amazing secluded beach at the bottom of a ,steep at times, jungle track that is accessible by foot only, its about 2km walking down and up around 223m of elevation. There is plenty to see on the route, including lots of parrots roosting at dusk.

Communication with the owner José was easy-going. My room was spacious and the view from my bathroom into the lush, green nature stunning. Elizabete is super welcoming and a very good chef; the octopus was amazing and the breakfast rich and plentiful. Also, Alcides serves as a great guide to the nearby waterfall.

The host and especially the staff were very helpful and accommodating. We don’t speak Portuguese but with the help of Google translate we managed to communicate. It’s good location to the waterfalls (highlight of the stay). There is a small shop near by. We got upgraded to a Mother House which is very spacious large house with a hammock! On second day we got moved to a nice large room (Macau) in the main house as we had issues with water. Meals are very nice.
