I absolutely loved this place! It's super chilled, nice and only a 2-minute walk from the beach. I kept extending my booking and stayed for a total of 3 weeks. The owners, Marc and Xenia, are super lovely and helpful, and they made my stay perfect. I will definitely come back for sure!

Clean room, great kitchen and good for relaxing. Close to the beach (only 200m). Several trucks come in the morning where you can buy lots of fruits and veggies (all the other food for cooking, buy before in a big town). The owner helped us to arrange our shuttle to Leon.

Nice hostel in Palmarcito beach with a pool. Nice boardwalk from the beach to playa La Leona and some pools. 1 night was good enough.

Hammock Plantation is a great little hostel. The staff are amazing and always super helpful. The kitchen has everything you need to cook your own meals and it's a great place to meet other travellers. The location is low key and is easy to get to the busier beach communities like El Zonte and El Tunco. There are great pupusas and pizza near by, plus fruit and bread trucks that come by every morning with perfect avocados, pineapples, tomatoes and everything else you need to cook up your feasts. As the name suggests, there is no shortage of hammocks making it easy to kick back, relax, read a book or do whatever you like to do on a hammock. The pool is also very nice.

I am happily returning to this hostel on my way back south. Bedside plugs, light and fan, well-equipped kitchen, very pleasant common area. Super friendly and knowledgeable owners: they know their shuttles, local and next-town buses and attractions and give very personalized help. Thumbs up.

A really relaxing hostel. The owners are lovely and helpful. Very attractive grounds. Enjoyed numerous swims in the pool during my short stay. Excellent wifi. Plenty of seating - and hammocks - both in front of and behind the hostel building. Comfortable dorms with individual fans, lights and power points. Very good kitchen/cooking facilities.

The location and facilities for this price is fantastic! The staff in the hostel are incredibly kind, and was so helpful when my friend was feeling unwell. Beach so close, a really nice pool to cool off in the afternoon, and lots of information on everything local.
