Welcome to our house in Hua Hin! Located in Thailand's royal beach district and home to the king's summer palace, you'll find our house just outside Hua Hin on a peaceful golf course only 10 minutes from the nearest beach. The house is set within Palm Hills Golf Club & Residence, a large private gated golf course with 24-hour security. We chose this spot for its tranquillity and scenery, with a view over green hills, a lake and mountains. You’ll have plenty of space (850 sqm) over two floors. There are 8 double bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. 2 of the bedrooms are in a separate private pool house. There is air conditioning and WiFi throughout the house, and 4 spacious living areas: one upstairs with a TV and DVD player; another downstairs with a sofa, desk and bookcase with reading material; a large open-plan kitchen, dining area and pantry; and a fourth in the poolside house. Outside you'll find 2 balconies and a large private garden filled with tropical flowers, fruit and palm trees. A lake at its end separates you from the 8th hole of the golf course. There is also an 18-metre saltwater infinity pool and a shaded garden pavilion with a barbeque and dining area.

Hello! We're Gunnar and Nicole from Denmark. Over the years we have moved back and forth between Europe and Asia with our twin daughters and now divide our time between Italy and Asia. We will be contactable by email and are happy to answer queries and offer tips on what to see while you are in Hua Hin. On arrival at Palm Hills you will be met by our Thai house manager, who will show you around and make sure you get settled in. We will put you in touch with her before your arrival, so she can arrange everything you might need. She will also be available throughout your stay to answer any questions and deal with problems that might arise. For an added fee, our house manager can also arrange for a daily maid and/or Thai cooking service in the house, as well as airport pickup, car rental, taxi/tuk tuk/chauffeur service, Thai massage, excursions etc. Should you wish to add any of these services, the property includes a service house for staff to stay in. You will also have access to the club house facilities. For a small fee, you can use the gym, tennis, squash and badminton courts, billiards and table tennis rooms.

Located 3 hours south of Bangkok, Hua Hin is known as Thailand’s Royal Beach Resort. Once a quiet fishing village, it became a fashionable retreat for residents of Bangkok in the 1920s. King Rama VII enjoyed it so much that he decided to build his summer (or the 'Far from Worries') palace here. It takes about 15-20 minutes to drive to the town centre from the golf course. There’s plenty to do in Hua Hin: golf, watersports, trekking, great shopping, markets and beaches (including the famous 5km-long white sandy beach). The surrounding areas are full of Buddhist temples and other attractions, such as the Pa La-U Waterfall, a famous vineyard and an elephant sanctuary. If you want to go further afield, the border with Myanmar is only 60km away. We love the international restaurant scene and frequently visit Hua Hin's beachside fish restaurants for fresh fish and seafood. We also enjoy Hua Hin’s spas and night markets. Our greatest treat is to visit the Centara Grand Beach Resort for its luxurious afternoon tea, served daily amidst the old-world charm of the hotel's seaside gardens. Our own spiral staircase was inspired by the grand staircase in the hotel's lobby!
