The woman who runs this place is absolutely one amazing woman. She was so welcoming, funny and helpful - making this a perfect place to stay in Koh Lanta. plus the beach is less than a 2 minute walk away.

Honestly we were sceptical about this place, because it had only one review, but we decided to try. No regrets! The best place we stayed in our 3 weeks in Thailand. :-) From the second we came we felt more like a close friend of the host rather than a guest. :-) She just can't stop smiling and laughing. We had a problem with water coming up from the drain in the bathroom. Then we were quickly moved into another identical room, all the time apologizing and asking if we're alright 😊 Also she gave us lots of tips of where to eat, what to do and not do. Rooms were clean. Price is very nice. A/C is good. The place seems pretty new, so it's not worn in any way. The beach is nice here, and it's not shallow as it is in Long beach or Klong Khong. It's maybe not that good for children who can't swim, as it's about 2m depth even 10m from the shore.

I recommend De Lanta place 100%. Lovely place with the best host ever. The rooms are very nice and clean. Big comfortable bed, aircon, small fridge, tv, outdoor terrace. Also can book all the day trips, bus ticket etc here and the host is so helpful and gives you the best recommendation for whatever you need. The host really cares about her customers and makes sure that everything is good and you are comfortable. The location is great. Restaurants, 7eleven, shops etc just around the corner. Beach 30 seconds walk. Massage, laundry service just next door. Couldn't be happier with my stay at De Lanta place ❤️🙏

The host is wonderful! She is always so kind and friendly. She definitely feels more like a friend than a host but is still very accommodating and professional. Our AC wasn’t fully working so she got us a fan and offered for us to move into a room where the AC worked. She was very apologetic and helpful. The place is very simple but had everything we needed and was mostly clean. There is also a very sweet cat, Mushy, that comes around sometimes :)
