From the hidden extras to the helpful staff, the location to the cleanliness and calm of the building. Any place or person wishing to set up as a host for guests should take note from here. I will use whenever I come through Hat Yai in the future.

We stayed four nights at Get Guesthouse 2 (there is another Get Guesthouse). First two nights in a Standard Double Room and last two nights of our trip in a Budget Double Room. The staff were friendly. When we checked in, they told us we can help ourselves to the complimentary drinks and snacks. We like the cozy lobby with tables and chairs/sofas. Felt so relaxed here, especially after a long walk under the sun. The room size was decent and the room was clean. They provided four pillows. The bathroom in the standard room we stayed had ants near the mirror, and I saw ant on my towel. The bathroom in the budget room was clean and didn't see any ants. The budget room was in another block and there was no lift. We don't mind taking the stairs. We will book the budget room if we come to Hat Yai again. Btw there is a shop selling rice dumplings(bat chang, 30 baht), banana kuih (20 baht) and other teochew kuih opposite the guesthouse. Very cheap and tasty😋.

We stayed in a well-designed family room (actually two adjoining double rooms so that we had two bathrooms) with a comfortable double bed in one and a bunk bed in the other. The bathrooms were small but clean and looked newly refurbished. Although the individual rooms were small we had enough space for our things. The staff were friendly and polite, particularly the two ladies who clean and make up the rooms. Although the guesthouse doesn't provide breakfast there is a tea/coffee station in reception with complimentary toast and snacks.

The location is very good. Rooms is comfortable and clean. The staffs are friendly and nice. The hotel provides breads,biscuits and drinks at the lobby in the morning for guests.
