At the Pink Kangaroo there are no strangers, just friends that have not met. Dick and Wan welcome all and are happy to make your stay as comfortable as possible with friendly and personal service. Our chalets are designed and built for you to enjoy a long term stay with us and therefore all the chalets, (except the baby chalet that only comes with a refrigerator), comes with a kitchenette and all the equipment you might need for your self catering. You'll have your private terrace with furniture where you can sit and enjoy the peaceful nature surrounding you. No roosters to disturb your beauty sleep! At our little garden café we offer cold and hot drinks such as real coffee, fruit juices, smoothies, beer and mocktails. That together with our delicious homemade cakes, all day breakfast and light meals is a reason on it's own for a visit. As far as it's possible we use local ingredients and products at our popular little café. At the Pink Kangaroo we offer you a relaxing stay surrounded by trees, flowers, birds and butterflies, tucked away from the main road . The most pristine beaches the island has to offer is reachable within a few minutes scooter ride.

At the Pink Kangaroo we offer you a relaxing stay surrounded by trees, flowers, birds & butterflies, tucked away from the main road. The most pristine beaches the island has to offer is within a few minutes scooter ride. Our chalets are designed and built for you to enjoy long term stay with us therefore all the chalets (except the baby chalet that only comes with a refrigerator) comes with a kitchenette and all the equipment you might need for your self catering. You'll have your private terrace with furniture where you can sit and enjoy the peaceful nature surrounding you. No roosters to disturb your beauty sleep! At the Pink Kangaroo as much as we can we try to live in harmony with nature and therefore we offer fans instead of a/c in our chalets. We will exchange your bed linnen and towels once a week. We can offer you free drinking water that is collected rain water, since non of the farms nearby uses any pesticides and the pollution on the island is very low. Otherwise the tap water is drinkable after being boiled. Most of your food waste (except meat and fish) can be used in our compost as fertilizer. We also have a popular little cafe on the property.

Neighbourhood information

A long avenue of coconut palm & rubber trees leads you to the Pink Kangaroo. Thanks to our secluded location with the next neighbour 200m away we can offer you a relaxing stay surrounded by trees, flowers, birds & butterflies, tucked away from the main road . The most pristine beaches the island has to offer is reachable within a few minutes scooter ride. So is small supermarkets, self service petrol stations, restaurants and veggie shop. Koh Kood(Kut) is truly an unspoilt tropical island paradise. Come before it is too late. At our little garden café we offer cold and hot drinks such as real coffee, fruit juices, smoothies, beer and mocktails. That together with our delicious homemade cakes, all day breakfast and light meals is a reason on it's own for a visit. As far as it's possible we use local ingredients and products at our popular little café. There is not really any taxis or public transportation on the island and although it's a small island, walking distances are too far, so getting around with a scooter or motorbike is almost a must. We're happy to help you with information where to rent them, furthermore we can help you organize your boat tickets.
